Installation Note 34819: Configuring a reverse proxy HTTP server with SAS Web Application in order to proxy WebDAV requests
If you are configuring a reverse proxy HTTP server with the SAS® Web applications, and wish to proxy WebDAV requests as well, some modifications are required to the metadata in SAS® Foundation Services.
Modifying the Metadata
To modify the metadata, log in to SAS® Management Console as an administrator and navigate to the Foundation Services Manager. There, note the following five defined services.
- Remote Services
- SASPackageViewer4.2 Local Services
- SASPortal4.2 Local Services
- SASStoredProcess9.2 Local Services
- SASWebReportStudio4.2 Local Services
For each of the five services above, perform the steps enumerated below:
- Select Core ► Information Services.
- Right-click Properties.
- Select the Service Configuration tab.
- Click the Configuration button.
- Select the Repositories Tab.
- Edit the WebDAV Repository Information pertaining to the machine name and port number for your reverse proxy HTTP server.
